Unique Pest Control is based in Northlake. Our office is on Peekaboo Lane, our technicians live in the area, and Northlake is where we get to fastest.
That matters more than it sounds. Most pest companies serving Northlake are driving in from Fort Worth or Denton. We are already here, which is why same day service in Northlake is routine for us rather than something we squeeze in.

When that ground gets graded, the things living in it do not disappear. Fire ants, rodents, snakes and scorpions get displaced, and they move into the nearest structure, which is usually a brand new house.
New construction is not protected from pests. It is often more exposed, because landscaping is immature, soil is freshly disturbed and gaps around utility penetrations have not been found yet.
The neighborhoods going in around Pecan Square, Canyon Falls and the Harvest area see this consistently in the first two or three years after construction. It settles down, but not on its own.
Fire ants. Mounds show up fast on newly graded ground and after rain. Store bought mound treatments usually relocate the colony instead of killing it. We treat the yard as a whole.
Scorpions. Striped bark scorpions are native here and come indoors during hot dry stretches looking for water. They enter through weep holes, garage door gaps and plumbing penetrations, so sealing matters as much as treatment.
Rodents. Displaced by construction and looking for shelter. Exclusion first: find the entry, seal it, then remove what is inside.
Termites. The clay soil under Northlake shifts with moisture and opens cracks in slabs that subterranean termites use. New homes are not exempt.
Mosquitoes. Drainage easements, retention ponds and new landscaping that holds water all breed them.
Commercial accounts across the Northlake and Alliance corridor as well, including warehouses, offices, restaurants and schools.
